Robbie Beathard: Lead Vocals
When he is not belting tones on the mic, Robbie "Robbidactyl" Beathard hits the gridiron as a strong safety on the USD football team. He is a multi-talented artist who not only sings and plays football, but also is pursuing a business degree in accounting. Robbie comes from the "SoCal sound", and he is heavily influenced by many modern reggae and ska greats.
Reed Leonard: Guitar
A PB local, Reed enjoys the beach life when he isn't busy shredding guitar, or studying for his CPA exam. His licks are influenced by legends such as Jimi Hendrix, and also new reggae vibes such as Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, and Pepper. Reed is also pursuing a degree in accounting at SDSU and expects to obtain one by the end of this year.
Patrick Thomas: Keys and Effects
Classically trained with a modern twist is the best way to describe Pat's advanced skills on a keyboard. Along with the classical masters he is greatly influence by the sound and style of Ray Manzarek of the Doors. He is pursuing a degree in Electronic Music Composition at SDSU and tearing apart the music program.
Jeff Mirich: Bass
"The Doctor" contributes his bass lines to a love for the dark sounds of reggae mixed with the liveliness of funk. When not playing bass he will most likely be found in the surf shredding one of his custom shaped boards. He has acquired a B.S. in Physics from SDSU and is currently teaching kooks to surf as a surf instructor in LJ Shores.
Maximus Eckstein: Drums
Maximus lays down phat beats on the drums. Coming from a jazz background, he continues to add his jazz influence to The Room Downstairs' music. Max is currently a Jazz Studies major at SDSU with an emphasis in Music Performance. As well as being focused on his musical career, Max continues to study the art of getting "swole" (Hittin' the Gym) to eventually become a certified personal trainer.
